Ingredients

  • 1 cup - gram flour
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp - baking soda or baking powder
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Savoury Onion Pakoras

  • Mix all the above ingredients together (except the oil) to form a sticky batter.
  • Heat the oil in a deep drying pan till smoky.
  • Drop in a tsp of batter at a time into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.
  • Remove and serve with tomato sauce or chutney.
