Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Tomato puree
  • 1 cup - Sev
  • 2 tsp - Minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - Chopped, green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - Jaggery
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - Hing
  • 1/2 cup - Hot water.

How to Make Sev-Tameta Nu Shaak

  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds.
  • Add the hing, green chillies and garlic to it and saute for 1-2 mins.
  • Add the tomato puree and jaggery along with the spices and mix well.
  • Mix the hot water into it and simmer for 10 mins and let it boil.
  • Add sev in the gravy and cook it for 5 mins or until it softens.
  • Add The lemon juice and mix well.
  • Serve hot in a bowl.
