Ingredients

  • 2 cups - rice flour
  • 2 - green chillies
  • curry leaves
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice - to taste
  • 1/2 sp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds

How to Make Sevai

  • Slightly fry the rice flour. Mix it with warm water until it resembles chapatti dough.
  • Put it in a murukku machine with small holes, and pipe out on to idli plates.
  • Steam it in a pressure cooker like we do for idlis.
  • After it is done, let it cool.
  • In a pan, add some oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, green chillies, curry leaves and turmeric.
  • Mix this with the sevai. The add salt and lemon juice.
