Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 - bread slices
  • 1 bunch - fresh coriander leaves
  • 3 - tomatoes chopped
  • 2 - onions
  • 10 cloves - garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumins powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 cup - water
  • salt to taste

How to Make Seyal Bread

  • Grind coriander, tomatoes, half the garlic, turmeric, red chilli into paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry garlic and onions till brown.
  • Add cumin and the paste, cook for 10 mins or till oil separates.
  • Add the water, bring to boil, add the bread slices, soak well.
  • Garnish with sev and serve hot.
