Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - mince meat
  • 1/2 cup - Channa Dal
  • 4 - red chillies
  • 1 tbsp - Dhania seeds
  • 1 tsp - poppy seeds
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch - ginger
  • 1 stick - cinnamon
  • 4 - cloves
  • 6 - peppercorns
  • 4 - cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp - Haldi powder
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - Dhania leaves, chopped
  • salt
  • Ghee for frying
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 - onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp - coriander

How to Make Shami Kebabs

  • Boil all the ingredients together in 3 cups of water and cook till water dries up. Then grind finely.
  • To the ground meat, mix the egg and coriander leaves.
  • Form into medium sized balls, flatten and fry in very little ghee.
