  • 1/2 kg medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumins powder
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped finely
  • salt as per taste
  • pepper as per taste
  • 1ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Shrimp-Mango Curry

  • Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil. Saute shrimp for 2-3 mins.
  • Remove, drain and keep aside.
  • In the same pan, add a little oil and saute onion till it is transparent.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste, saute for another 3 mins.
  • Add all the powders, potatoes, and green chillies.
  • Then, add coconut milk, salt as per taste, and water.
  • Bring it to a boil.
  • Let it simmer on slow flame for 10-15 mins till the potatoes are tender.
  • Add the shrimp and mango pieces.
  • Cook for another 5 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with rice.
