Ingredients

  • 10 - eggs
  • 10 - bread slices
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves
  • 1.5 tsp - red chillie powder
  • 10 to 12 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Simple French Toast

  • Break the eggs in a wide bowl.
  • Then add finely chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder and salt to taste.
  • Beat well till you get a frothy mixture.
  • Keep oil to heat on a tava or a non-stick pan.
  • When the oil is hot, simmer the gas.
  • Dip a slice of bread in the egg mixture.
  • Ensure that the bread slice is well soaked in the egg mixture.
  • Put it on the tava and let it fry on a low flame.
  • When you see one side of the bread is done, flip the side.
  • Fry till both the sides of the bread are golden in colour, but on a low flame.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup.
