Ingredients

  • 1 cup - raw groundnuts
  • 1 marble size - tamarind
  • 1 - onions
  • 1 clove - garlic (optional)
  • 5 - red chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - fresh coconut scrapings.

How to Make Simple Groundnut Chutney

  • Roast the raw groundnuts and peel off the skin.
  • Heat a kadai and saute red chillies in a little oil.
  • Grind together groundnuts, chillies, raw chopped onions, garlic, tamarind, coconut and salt with enough water.
  • Serve.
