Ingredients

  • Prawns - 250 g
  • Chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • 1 - big Onion finely chopped
  • 1 inch - ginger finely chopped
  • 2 to 4 cloves - garlic finely chopped
  • 3 to 4 - cloves
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce/tomato puree - 1 tbsp
  • Capsicum - 1 cut into small square pieces
  • 4 tbsps - vinegar
  • Oil for cooking
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Simple Prawn Fry

  • Heat oil, fry onion and capsicum together until the onion turns brownish.
  • Add ginger and garlic, saute it properly.
  • Put chilli, turmeric and coriander powder, mix it well.
  • Now add prawns and salt. Stir and cook.
  • Meanwhile add tomato sauce/puree and vinegar. Stir well and cook until prawns are done.
