Ingredients

  • Poppy seeds or khus khus - 1 tsp (soaked in warm water for half hour)
  • Dalia - 1 tbsp
  • Grated coconut - 3 tbsps
  • Red Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Onion - 1 medium size
  • Garlic pods - few
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • 3/4 kg - mixed vegetables (carrots, potatoes (diced), cauliflower and broccoli florets, fresh green peas)

How to Make Simple Sagu

  • Place vegetables in a bowl and microwave for 10 minutes.
  • Powder the dalia and add the soaked poppy seeds, grated coconut and finely chopped onions with a little water. Grind.
  • Fry garlic pods in a little oil in a pan.
  • Add the boiled vegetables.
  • Add the ground mixture to the boiled vegetables.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with chapattis or poori.
