  • 1 kg - green mangoes
  • 1 kg - brown sugar
  • 200 g - fresh ginger
  • 1.5 cups - vinegar
  • 3 tbsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - salt

How to Make Sizzling Sweet Mango Chutney

  • Wash, peel and slice the mangoes into very thin pieces.
  • Peel and mince ginger finely.
  • Mix the vinegar, sugar, salt, chilli powder and ginger in a saucepan. Cook for about 15 mins, stirring constantly.
  • Add mangoes and simmer on a very low fire till the mangoes are pulpy.
  • Cool and store in dry airtight bottles.
