  • For the Stuffing:
  • 1/2 cup - Minced soya granules(cooked)
  • 1- Potato (Big and cooked)
  • 1- Onion (chopped)
  • 1- Tomato (chopped)
  • 1/ 2 tsp - Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Red chilly powder
  • Salt
  • 8-10 - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds and mustard seeds
  • Oil
  • For Fritters:
  • 1 cup - Gram flour
  • 1/4 cup - Rice flour
  • Pinch of Asafoetida powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Red chilly powder
  • 6- Chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil.

How to Make Soya kheema and Potato Masala Stuffed Chilli Fritters

  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin and mustard seeds.
  • Then add the onions, chopped tomatoes, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and salt to it and saute everything until the onions turn pink.
  • Now add the potatoes and the soya granules and saute until the masala gets cooked.
  • Keep aside.
  • Meanwhile mix all the ingredients for the fritters, except the oil and chillies, and make a thick batter with the water.
  • Now heat oil for Deep frying.
  • In the meanwhile cut the chillies and remove the seeds and fill them with the soya kheema and potato masala.
  • Now dip the stuffed mirchis in the batter and gently drop them into the hot oil.
  • Deep Fried on both sides until golden brown.
  • Place in a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
  • Serve with coffee or tea.
