Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tbsp - maize flour
  • 3/4 cup - milk
  • 2 tbsp - grated cheese
  • 6 tsp - butter
  • 1 1/2 cups - spaghetti, cooked and cut into small pieces
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • For Corn Filling:
  • 1 tbsp - corn flour
  • 1/2 cup - corn, boiled
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - chopped onion
  • 1 1/4 cups - tomato juice
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • For Topping:
  • 6 tsp - grated cheese
  • few capsicum pieces

How to Make Spaghetti Corn Pie

  • Grease the pie dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs.
  • To prepare the spaghetti layer, add the butter into a casserole dish and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Add milk and mix well.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Repeat the process.
  • Add milk and mix well.
  • Microwave on high for 3 minutes till its thick like sauce.
  • Mix well with salt, pepper and cheese.
  • Add the spaghetti and spread it along the pie dish.
  • For filling:
  • Add the butter in a casserole dish and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Add the onion and garlic.
  • Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes until it softens.
  • Add tomato juice, cornflour, salt, pepper, sugar and red chilli powder.
  • Partially cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes till it starts bubbling.
  • Stir once in-between.
  • Mix the boiled corn and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Pour into the prepared pie dish and sprinkle grated cheese and arrange a few capsicum pieces on top.
  • Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes before serving.
