Ingredients

  • 400 g - spaghetti
  • 1 cup - boiled green peas
  • 1 cup - ground cheese
  • 1 kg - chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsps - ginger, finely minced
  • 2 large capsicum, chopped
  • 4 large onions, finely chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp - each chilli powder, salt and 1 tsp. sugar

How to Make Spaghetti Creole

  • Fry the ginger, capsicum, onion and garlic.
  • Cover and cook till onions are transparent.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, salt and sugar.
  • Cook till tomatoes are pulpy and sauce is thick. Sieve.
  • Boil spaghetti in salted water till just tender.
  • Drain and add spaghetti to tomato sauce.
  • Add the boiled green peas.
  • Fold in the ground cheese. Serve hot.
