Ingredients

  • French beans - 1/2 cup (finely shredded)
  • Carrots - 1/2 cup (finely shredded)
  • Cabbage - 1/2 cup (finely shredded)
  • Coriander leaves - a few
  • Cornflour - 4 tsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tsp
  • Soya sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1-2 tsp
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Hot water - 6 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 tsp

How to Make Special Hot and Sour Soup

  • Grind green chillies and coriander leaves to a fine paste and saute in oil for 2 minutes.
  • Add the shredded vegetables and pepper powder and saute for some more time.
  • Add 6 cups of hot water, soya sauce, salt and vinegar and bring to a boil.
  • Mix corn flour in 1/2 cup of water and add it to the soup.
  • Stir constantly for 5-10 minutes and serve hot.
