  • 1 cup - channa dhal
  • 1 cup - finely chopped onions
  • green chillies to your taste
  • a handful of chopped coriander leaves
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp - hing
  • 1 tbsp - ginger and garlic finely minced

How to Make Special Onion Masala Vada

  • Soak channa dal exactly for 1 hour and drain it.
  • Grind it without adding water.
  • The mixture should be coarse.
  • Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  • Make small balls and flatten them.
  • Heat oil and deep fry the balls.
