Ingredients

  • 6 - big onions
  • 2 cups - vegetable stock
  • 4 tsp - tamarind pulp
  • 2 - red chillies
  • 3 cloves - garlic
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 2 tbsp - plain flour (maida)
  • salt to taste

How to Make Special Onion Soup

  • Heat butter in a pan and stir fry the onions till golden brown.
  • Add the plain flour and stir again.
  • Mix the vegetable stock and keep stirring gradually.
  • Cool the mixture and blend in a blender with red chillies, garlic, tamarind pulp, salt, onions, vegetable stock and make a paste.
  • Boil once and serve hot.
