  • Rice - 4 tbsp
  • Sugar - 15 tbsp
  • Milk - 3 to 4 cups
  • A few pieces of cashew nuts, cardamom and raisins

How to Make Special Paal Payasam

  • Give rice a short spin in the mixer.
  • Roast it in 1 tsp of ghee till it is hot.
  • Roast cashewnuts, cardamom and raisins in the ghee and keep aside.
  • In a cooker, mix milk, powdered rice and. Give it 4 to 5 whistles.
  • Cool and open. Add sugar and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Garnish with roasted cashewnuts, raisins and cardamom and serve.
