Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Mutton
  • For marinade:
  • 2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp - dry coriander
  • 1 tbsp - ginger paste
  • 6 - cloves
  • 8 - garlic cloves
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 6 - small cardamom
  • 1/2 inch - cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp - nutmeg powder
  • A pinch of hing
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - salt

How to Make Special Pakku (Mutton Curry)

  • Mix the mutton pieces well in the paste. Add salt and turmeric powder, and keep aside for 20 mins.
  • Heat some oil, fry the mutton quickly on high heat, then lower the heat and simmer for an hour.
  • Serve hot with cooked rice or rotis.
