Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - palak
  • 2 cups - channa dal
  • 2 - onions
  • 4 - slit green chillies
  • 1 sprig - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - turmeric
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Special Palak Dal

  • Soak channa dal in water for 20 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add chopped green chillies, onions and curry leaves.
  • Fry till onions are light brown.
  • Add channa dal, palak, turmeric and salt pressure cook for up to 3 whistles.
  • Serve hot with rice or rotis.
