Ingredients

  • Fried Paneer- 1 pack
  • Capsicums - 2
  • Onions -1
  • Tomato Paste - 1 tin (small)
  • Green Chilli - 4-5
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger Paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Sugar- a pinch
  • Salt - to taste

How to Make Special Paneer Jalfrezi

  • Cut the veg. into thin long slices. Julienne them.
  • Put the frozen fried paneer cubes in hot water and soak it for some time.
  • Change the water again and put it in hot water till it defreezes.
  • This will also rinse away excess oil in the paneer.
  • Pour 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, onions, capsicums, green chilli, ginger. Keep the stove in high. Fry it just for a few mins until it becomes tender.
  • Add the masalas, sugar and salt. Fry for some more time.
  • Now add the tomato paste.
  • Once the oil starts coming out it's cooked.
  • Serve it with rotis and parathas.
