  • Idli rawa/Semolina - 3 cups
  • Urad Dal - 1 cup

How to Make Special Rava Idli

  • Soak semolina and urad dal separately for 5 hours.
  • Grind the urad dal. Drain the water from the semolina.
  • Mix urad dal and semolina.
  • Add water to get a loose batter. Keep it overnight to let the batter rise.
  • Next day, steam idlis in an idli maker and serve.
