Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Idly batter
  • 1- Carrot (cooked and pureed)
  • 1 tsp - Pav Bhaji masala
  • 1 tbsp - Idly milagai podi
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad dal
  • 10-12- Curry leaves
  • Oil.

How to Make Spiced Carrot Mini idlis

  • Add the carrot puree to the idly batter and mix well.
  • Now grease the mini idly plates with oil and pour the idli batter and steam cook for about 10 mins in the idly cooker.
  • Remove the cooked idlis carefully with a spoon and keep aside.
  • Now heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds, urad dal, and add the curry leaves and mini idlis.
  • Toss gently for a few seconds, add the idly milagai podi and pav bhaji masala to it.
  • Toss for 1-2 mins until the idlis get coated with the masala.
  • Serve hot.
