Ingredients

  • 1 cup - murmure (puffed rice)
  • 1/2 - onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 - carrot, grated
  • 1/2 tbsp - roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - sugar
  • 1/4 tsp - - black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup - coriander, chopped finely
  • 1/4 - cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp - fine sev
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Spicy Churmuri

  • Mix onions, carrots, peanuts, sugar, salt, pepper powder, lemon juice, and chilli powder along with oil in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add puffed rice to this mixture, just before serving. Otherwise the puffed rice would become soggy.
  • Garnish with cucumber slices, sev, and coriander leaves, and serve immediately.
