Ingredients

  • 1 cup - ordinary rice
  • 1/2 cup - toor dal
  • 1/2 - coconut (grated)
  • 6-8 - red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - hing 1/2
  • salt (as per taste)
  • Oil

How to Make Spicy coconut Dosa

  • Soak the rice and dal in water for a couple of hours.
  • Grind the mixture to a fine paste adding coconut, red chillies, hing, and salt.
  • Add water if required (it should be of pouring consistency).
  • Heat a tawa and smear a little oil over it.
  • Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it like a dosa.
  • Pour a tsp of oil around the dosa.
  • When cooked, turn the other side and cook till golden brown.
