  • 1 kg. hamour fish, cleaned
  • 4 lemons
  • 1 lettuce
  • Salt and white pepper to taste
  • For dressing:
  • 100 gms. butter
  • 3 minced onions
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 1 large ripe tomato
  • 1 tbsp. coriander, finely chopped
  • ½ cup pine nuts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bark of cinnamon

How to Make Spicy Fish

  • Season fish with salt and pepper, and set aside.
  • Roll out aluminium foil in a large pan.
  • Arrange the lemon slices in the pan and place the fish on top.
  • Cover it with more lemon slices and seal the aluminium foil.
  • Bake in an oven at 180 degrees C for 40 minutes.
  • Take a non stick pan, add butter and fry the onions and garlic, and stir fry for 15 minutes.
  • Hot pepper can be added to taste.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, add coriander, salt (to taste), pepper, white pepper and cinnamon and turn again.
  • In the last stage, fry the pine nuts for 2 minutes, strain and set aside.
