Ingredients

  • 2 cups - wheat flour
  • 1 bunch - methi, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup - cilantro leaves, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 pinches - asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil - for deep frying

How to Make Spicy Methi Puri

  • Mix the wheat flour with all the ingredients.
  • Add water to make a soft dough and keep it aside to prove for 15 mins.
  • Make puris from the dough.
  • Deep fry till light brown.
  • Serve hot spicy puris with coconut chutney.
