Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - pureed spinach
  • 500 g - paneer (cubed and lightly fried)
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup - onions (grated)
  • 1 cup - tomatoes, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp - garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp - powdered red pepper
  • 1 tsp - powdered coriander seeds
  • 1/4 cup - oil
  • 2 tsp - salt

How to Make Spicy Palak paneer

  • Heat oil and add cumin to it. When it splutters, add bay leaf, ginger and garlic, and saute till it is light brown in colour.
  • Add onions and saute till they are golden brown in colour.
  • Add tomatoes and stir fry it over medium heat.
  • When the oil separates, add salt, garam masala and red pepper to it. Stir till they are well mixed.
  • Add spinach and saute for 2-3 mins and add paneer to it.
  • Mix well and serve hot.
