Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - potatoes
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - Cuminutes powder
  • 1 tsp - fennel powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp - tomato puree
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Spicy Roast Potato

  • Place washed and dried potatoes on the turn table of the microwave oven. Cook on full power for 5 minutes. Turn the potatoes, inner side out and underside up. Cook again for 5 minutes. Wrap a cloth napkin around them so that they are well covered and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  •  Peel and cut potatoes into 3 cm cubes.
  • Combine all the powders with salt and tomato puree.
  • Mix potatoes with the masala mixture. Place in a wide microwave safe dish in a single layer.
  • Pour oil all over, cook on full power for 8-10 minutes, stirring once every 2 minutes.
  • Serve with puri or chapatti.
