  • Tomatoes - 2
  • Onion - 1 small
  • Red chilli - 3
  • Garlic - 1 flake
  • Hing - 1/2 tsp -
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp -
  • Oil - 2 tsp -
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Spicy Tomato Chutney

  • Grind together tomato, onion, garlic and red chilli to a fine paste.
  • In a kadai, heat oil and add mustard seeds. After spluttering, add curry leaves and hing.
  • Add the ground paste and salt. Cook till the oil comes out.
  • Serve hot with idli, dosa or can apply in any kind of sandwiches.
