Ingredients

  • 1 cup - spinach
  • 1-2 - green chillies
  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1.5 cups - buttermilk
  • salt

How to Make Spinach Sasuve

  • Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and saute it with chillies for 2 minutes.
  • Then grind the spinach and chillies with coconut, mustard and 1/2 cup buttermilk.
  • Pour into a bowl and dilute it by adding the remaining buttermilk . Add salt to taste.
  • Served with plain rice or as a raitha.
