  • 2 cups - Sprouted chickpeas
  • 1.5 cups - Brown rice
  • 1/2 cup - Parboiled rice
  • 1 cup - Urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Sprouted Chickpeas and Brown Rice Dosa

  • Combine the brown rice and the parboiled rice and soak for 4 hours.
  • Now wash and soak the urad dal and fenugreek seeds separately for 4 hours.
  • Then grind the soaked urad dal and fenugreek seeds into a smooth paste.
  • Then grind the sprouted chickpeas along with soaked brown rice and par boiled rice with water into a coarse paste.
  • Mix the smooth urad dal batter along with the coarse chickpeas-rice batter with enough salt.
  • Let it ferment overnight.
  • Now heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of this sprouted chickpeas batter and spread it like a dosa.
  • Cook on both sides until it's well cooked.
  • Serve hot with spicy coconut chutney.
