  • 2 cups - Sprouted green grams
  • 1/2 cup - Spinach (chopped)
  • 1 - Onion (big and chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds (crushed)
  • 1 tsp - Ginger (grated)
  • Few curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil for Deep Frying

How to Make Sprouted Green gram and Spinach Pakoda

  • Grind the sprouted green gram without water or sprinkle some water to turn as a smooth paste.
  • Add the finely chopped spinach, chopped onions, chopped green chillies, crushed fennel seeds, grated ginger and few curry leaves and salt. Mix everything well.
  • Heat oil for Deep frying, take a small ball from the prepared batter and drop gently to the hot oil. Fry the pakodas in small batches and drain the excess of oil with a paper towel.
  • Serve hot with sweet chilly sauce or tomato ketchup.
