  • 1 cup sprouted masoor
  • 8 peppercorns
  • ¼ coconut
  • 2 tsp. chilli powder
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • ½ cup coriander leaves
  • 1 piece of onion
  • ½ tsp. mustard seeds
  • 5 kokums
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Sprouted Masoor Curry

  • Boil masoor in enough water.
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric, kokums, salt and coriander leaves.
  • Grind scraped coconut, peppercorns and onion finely and add to masoor.
  • Check consistency. Heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  • When they pop, pour over the curry.
  • Boil thoroughly and serve with rice.
