  • 1 - squash
  • 1 - tomato
  • 5 or 6 pods - garlic
  • 5 - green chillies
  • 5 - dried red chillies
  • 1/2 cup - bamboo shoot strands, dried and fermented
  • To taste - salt

How to Make Squash Boiled with Dried and Fermented Bamboo Shoot

  • Make a paste of tomato, garlic, green and dried red chillies.
  • Boil the squash pieces, in 2 glasses of water.
  • When the squash gets half cooked, add the ground paste, bamboo shoot and salt. Mix well.
  • Cover and cook, until done.
  • Serve with rice.
