  • 1/2 cup - grated coconut
  • 2 tsp - soft jaggery
  • 1 cup - rice flour
  • pinch - salt.

How to Make Steamed Coconut Dumplings

  • Mix the coconut and jaggery together.
  • Make a dough with the rice flour and little water.
  • Make small balls with the dough.
  • Flatten a ball, place a little of the coconut and jaggery mixture in the middle of each ball of dough. Then cover with the dough around it so as to form a ball.
  • Steam the dumplings for about 10 minutes in a steamer.
  • Serve either hot or cold.
