  • 1/2 kg - Rava/Sooji/ Semolina
  • 3 cups - Idli rava
  • 1/2 kg - Urad dal
  • Pepper powder
  • Chilli powder
  • Salt

How to Make Steamed Dhoklas

  • Soak idli rava.
  • Soak the dal for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Finely grind dal and mix with rava and keep overnight.
  • Grease thali, add salt to the thick mixture, sprinkle chilli and pepper powder and steam (in a pressure pan).
