  • 2 medium sized bunch spinach
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 8 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1 medium sized onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 or 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 small tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • salt to taste

How to Make Stir fried Spinach

  • Wash the spinach and chop finely.
  • Lightly heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Add the crushed garlic and fry for few seconds till light brown.
  • Add onions, green chillies and saute on a medium flame till pink.
  • Add spinach and stir fry on a high flame till the water from the spinach dries completely.
  • Add the chopped tomato and cook on a high flame for 5 mins.
  • Add salt, coriander powder and cook for 2 mins.
  • Serve hot with rotis.
