  • Butter - 260 gms
  • Sugar - 660 gms
  • Maida - 900 gms
  • Baking powder - 16 gms
  • Coco powder - 30 gms
  • Egg - 08 gms
  • Baking soda - 20 gms
  • Dates - 600 gms
  • Stout beer -1200 ml
  • Toffee sauce Cream -1120 gms
  • Brown sugar - 1060 gms
  • Salt - 12 gms

How to Make STOUT AND DATE PUDDING

  • Soak the dates in stout beer and grind and make into a paste
  • Sieve refined flour and coco powder keep a side
  • In dough mixer start creaming the sugar and butter gradually add the eggs then add the baking soda sieved flour
  • Finally add the dates paste and transfer to baking tray level the batter
  • Bake it for 25 mins at the temperature of 170 C*
  • For the sauce in an induction or double boiler caramelize the sugar and add butter melt it and finish with the fresh cream and salt. I use Amul Cream for its consistency and texture.
  • Serve the pudding with toffee sauce.
