Ingredients

  • Bhindi -10-12 (Small)
  • Dry Mango powder - 3 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 3 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Ajwain - 2 tsp (Powdered)
  • Jeera powder - 5-6 tsp
  • Fenugreek powder - 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Onion (thinly sliced) - 1 (Big)
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil as needed

How to Make Stuffed Bhindi

  • Wash and dry bhindi. Chop off the stem, make 2 vertical slits to stuff the masala. Keep aside.
  • Mix all the powders including salt.
  • Stuff the powder mixture into each slit of a bhindi.
  • In a pan, heat oil and put mustard seeds.
  • When they pop, add slit onions and fry till they are transparent.
  • Add the remaining masala powder if any and fry a bit more.
  • Add the bhindis one by one and fry, taking care that they do not break.
  • Fry uncovered till cooked.
