Ingredients

  • 8 pieces chicken drumsticks
  • For Filling:
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 4 tbsp - processed cheese
  • salt to taste
  • For the Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup - yoghurt
  • 3 tsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - dry fenugreek leaves
  • salt to taste

How to Make Stuffed Chicken Drumsticks

  • Clean, wash and dry the chicken drumsticks.
  • Mix all the ingredients for filling, in a bowl.
  • Make a cavity in the flesh of the drumsticks and stuff with the filling.
  • In a bowl, mix all ingredients and refrigerate for 8 hours.
  • Wrap drumsticks individually in an aluminium foil and cook over hot charcoal.
  • When almost done, remove from foil and cook on the tandoor, basting occasionally with butter.
  • Serve with mint chutney, lemon wedges and naan roti.
