  • 3 cups - Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1 tsp - Ajwain seeds (crushed)
  • Salt
  • For stuffing:
  • 2 cups - Green peas, cooked and mashed
  • 1 - Big onion, chopped
  • 3 - Green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • Oil
  • Salt

How to Make Stuffed Peas Paratha

  • Put the wheat flour, crushed ajwain seeds and salt together in a bowl, add the curd, water (if needed) and knead everything to a stiff and smooth dough.
  • Keep aside for half an hour.
  • Meanwhile heat enough oil, splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • Immediately add the chopped onions, chopped green chillies; saute everything until onions turn translucent.
  • Add the cooked and mashed green peas, turmeric powder and salt, saute everything for few minutes.
  • Put off the stove and keep aside, until it cools.
  • Make medium sized balls from the dough, flatten them into small circles with the rolling pin.
  • Add enough peas masala and cover the masala by sealing the edges of dough.
  • Dust with all-purpose flour and roll them gently into parathas.
  • Heat a tawa, drizzle few drops of oil and cook the parathas, both sides
  • Serve hot with any sort of side dish.
