  • Lemon - 10
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder -1.5 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 spoon
  • Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin - 1/4 spoon
  • Sugar - 10 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp

How to Make Sweet and Sour Lemon Pickle

  • Wash, dry and cut lemons in to halves and squeeze out a little juice and cut then into small cubes.
  • Put the pieces into an airtight jar.
  • Add salt, red chilli, turmeric to pieces and close the lid, shake well.
  • Keep for 5 to 6 days, shaking often.
  • Warm cumin, mustard, fenugreek in a microwavable bowl and powder it.
  • Add this powder, sugar to the lemon pieces and shake well.
  • Keep for 1 to 2 days.
