  • 2 cups - white pumpkin, grated
  • 3 cups - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - ghee
  • Food colour - a pinch

How to Make Sweet Pumpkin Halwa

  • Grate the pumpkin finely and boil it.
  • When tender, add it in a kadai and add some food colour to it.
  • Add sugar and keep stirring.
  • When it starts to leave the sides, add the ghee and stir.
  • The mixture will start to thicken.
  • Put off the flame and cool.
  • Garnish with fried cashews.
