  • 12 big lemon
  • For Masala:
  • ¾ gm - jaggery, finely cut
  • 1 tbsp - chilli powder
  • ½ cup - salt
  • 1 tbsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • ¼ tsp - cardamom powder

How to Make Sweet Sour Pickle

  • Wash all the lemon.
  • Cut each lemon into eight pieces.
  • pply salt and turmeric powder to the lemon pieces.
  • Store in an airtight jar for 3-4 days but stir once a day.
  • Remove the lemon pieces from the water formed.
  • Preserve a tbsp of the salt water.
  • Dry the pieces on a piece of cloth for about 12 hours.
  • Thoroughly rub a tbsp of salted lemon water with finely cut jaggery and mix thoroughly.
  • Mix the prepared mixture thoroughly with lemon pieces.
  • Store in an air tight jar for 8-10 days.
  • Stir well in the jar once a day each day.
