Ingredients

  • 1 cup - fresh ridge gourd skin
  • 2 tbsp - tamarind pulp
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - cumin
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 2 - whole dry red chillies

How to Make Sweet sour ridge gourd chutney

  • Heat oil in a thick pan, splutter jeera and mustard and add the red chillies and fry till crisp.
  • Add the ridge gourd skin, and salt.
  • Cover and cook till the skin is soft.
  • Remove and cool, grind with all other ingredients.
  • Serve.
