  • 250 gms. tomatoes
  • 10 Pieces of fresh coriander leaves
  • Piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp. garlic paste
  • ½ tsp. sugar
  • 12 tsp. cream
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp. butter

How to Make Tamatar Aur Amania Ka Shorba

  • Finely grate the ginger.
  • Heat the butter and cook the ginger and garlic paste gently but avoid browning.
  • Chop tomatoes, add to the pan with the coriander leaves, salt and chillies and continue cooking over a low heat.
  • Push through a strainer.
  • Put back in the pan and reduce until the right consistency is obtained.
  • Season and add the sugar.
  • Finish with the cream and serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
