Ingredients

  • ripe but firm mango - 350 gm
  • vinegar - 3 tbsp
  • sugar - 3 tbsp
  • chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  • chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  • chopped peanuts - 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to Make Tangy Mango Salad

  • Peel the mango and cut into one and a half cm cubes.
  • In a small sauce pan, combine vinegar, sugar and salt and chilli flakes.
  • Bring to a boil, simmer for 1 minute.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Pour the dressing on mango pieces.
  • Add coriander leaves and peanuts.
  • Toss well and serve.
