Ingredients

  • 1/2 - Onion
  • 2 tbsp - Garlic
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 500 gms - Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1/4 tsp - Pepper
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Vinegar
  • Raisins - 10 -15
  • Almonds - 6-7
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder.

How to Make Tangy Tomato Chutney

  • Fry the onions, garlic and ginger together.
  • Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and mix well.
  • Boil for 10 mins and mash it.
  • Add the raisins, almonds, cardamom powder and boil until it thickens.
  • Allow to cool and store in sterilised bottles.
