  • Besan (Gram Flour) - 2 cups
  • Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
  • Ajwain seeds - 1 tsp
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Bread Slices - 5
  • Salt
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp (or according to taste)
  • Baking soda - pinch
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Tasty Bread Bajji

  • Toast the bread slices for a minute, just to make them a little crisp. Cut them diagonally to make 2 triangular pieces ( totally 10 pieces out of 5 slices). Keep them aside
  • Mix all other ingredients together with some water to make batter. Batter should not be too thin or too thick.
  • Heat oil. Butter each bread slice, dip it in batter and slide it into the oil. Fry till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
